CCD PROGRAMS
Our Children’s Faith Formation programs provide an atmosphere where families experience God’s love and Word so that faith may become living, conscious, and active. Religious formation classes reinforce traditions of faith, while the parish supports the child in learning to celebrate that faith in community. We are committed to a close collaboration with your family and the parish community to fulfill this mission.

YOUTH CONFIRMATION
The Sacrament of Confirmation completes the process of Christian Initiation. It celebrates & acknowledges the presence & action of the Holy Spirit in our lives and the lives of the church. St. John's Youth Confirmation Program, following the guidelines given to us from the Archdiocese of Newark, works together with catechists, sponsors, families and the entire church community to assist the candidates in their desire to follow Christ as one of His disciples. We strive to empower the candidates to give witness to their faith in words and actions, defend and spread the faith, and discern God's calling to use their gifts and talents to live out their Christian vocation.

CHRISTIAN INIATION
OF ADULTS (RCIA)
This program provides for the instruction and formation of adults preparing for Baptism, Confirmation and First Eucharist, and of adult Christians preparing for full communion with the Roman Catholic Church.
