BAPTISM
Through Baptism, we are freed from sin and reborn as sons & daughters of God. We become members of the Body of Christ as we join the Church. Baptism of Infants is celebrated on Sundays at 1:30 PM eleven months of the year. To begin your Baptismal Preparation of Infants, CLICK HERE to register.

FIRST COMMUNION
When we faithfully receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, we grow deeper in communion with God and fellowship with one another.

CONFIRMATION
St. John's Youth Confirmation Program is a two-year program for high school youth that meets throughout the year. Candidates have time for discernment and formation as they seek to follow Christ as one of His disciples. The program includes retreat time and information meetings to guide candidates on the journey. Facilitators, sponsors and families work with the church community to assist and empower the candidates as they give witnesses to their faith in words and action by using their gifts to live out their Christian vocation. Click Here to download your Confirmation Forms.

Please contact Cathy Wollyung at cwollyung@stjohnhillsdale.com for information about the High School Program.
MATRIMONY
Couples are urged to begin preparation for marriage immediately after the engagement, but not less than one year previous to the wedding date.

For Catholics, the Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a public sign that one gives oneself totally to this other person. It is also a public statement about God: the loving union of husband and wife speaks of family values and also God's values. Wedding arrangements must be made by calling 201.664.3131.
MINISTRY TO THE SICK
Anointing of the Sick is a ritual of healing appropriate not only for physical but also for mental and spiritual sickness. By Christ's passion and death on the Cross, we are given new meaning to all human suffering: it aligns us to Him and unites us with His redemptive suffering. In case of severe illness or for those anticipating hospitalization for surgery, contact the Parish Office for a priest to visit for the Sacrament of Anointing. You can also contact the Pastoral Care Office at any of our area hospitals for anointing and communion.

If anyone is ill, homebound, or in the hospital and wants to receive this healing sacrament, please notify the rectory at 201-664-3131.
